Terms of service

These terms govern use of DeLaw, a legal practice platform provided by Korevra Limited ("Korevra", "we"), a company registered in Nigeria, to the firm, court, department or practitioner that opens a workspace ("you", "the customer"). By creating a workspace or accepting an invitation you agree to them on behalf of your organisation.

1. The service

DeLaw provides matter management, a court diary and deadline computation, document management and electronic signature, billing and trust accounting, research and AI assistance, and related tools, operated as a hosted service with web and mobile applications. We may improve the service continuously; we will not remove a capability you pay for during a paid period without notice.

2. Accounts and workspaces

3. Plans, fees and payment

4. Your data and your clients' data

5. Professional responsibility

DeLaw assists legal professionals; it does not practise law. Deadlines, fee computations, citations and AI-generated drafts are aids that must be verified by a qualified person before reliance. Counsel remains responsible for every filing, advice and undertaking, and for complying with the Rules of Professional Conduct for Legal Practitioners.

6. Acceptable use

You will not use DeLaw to break the law, infringe others' rights, attack or probe the service, resell it, or load content you have no right to process. We may suspend a workspace that breaches these terms after giving notice where practical.

7. Availability and support

We aim for the service to be available continuously and show its status in the app. Support is by email for Solo, priority email for Firm and In-House, and as agreed for Enterprise and Judiciary. Planned maintenance is announced in the app.

8. Warranties and liability

Except as stated here, the service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, Korevra's total liability for any claim in a contract year is limited to the fees paid by you in the twelve months before the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss arising from a missed deadline or a reliance on AI output that was not verified. Nothing limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these terms with 30 days' notice to workspace owners; continued use after that is acceptance. Either party may end the agreement at the end of a paid period. We may suspend or end it sooner for a material breach that is not cured within 14 days of notice.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes are first raised with support@korevra.com; failing resolution within 30 days, either party may refer the dispute to arbitration in Lagos under the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023, with one arbitrator and English as the language.
